Message from Mrs Innes - added 23.06.20 NEW!!!
I am sure that, by now, many of you will have heard the statement that John Swinney made in parliament this afternoon. It was announced that, if virus levels remain low in Scotland, schools are likely to reopen to all pupils full time in August. Please be reassured that, as stated in the letter sent out to parents and carers with class information, we started our planning for next session with a 'normal' return in mind, and then adapted that plan to the model of blended learning. As a school, we want nothing more than to welcome our pupils back into the building and get back to 'normality' as soon as possible - we know how difficult the past few months have been for our pupils and families. We are also aware of the importance of doing this in a way that safeguards the health and wellbeing of pupils, staff and families. We will continue to liaise with the local authority and bring you further information as soon as we receive it. It is unfortunate that we are finishing this session without a clear picture of what our return in August will look like, but we are as prepared as we can be for whatever August brings! I hope that you have an enjoyable summer and look forward to seeing you all again in August. Take care and stay safe,
